Eco Warriors

Our core value for this half term is responsibility and in our assemblies we have explored what staff and children are responsible for at school and at home. This week Mrs Bellchambers and her Eco Warrior team talked to the children about our recycling mission at Sandringham.

Please continue to send in used felt tips and old batteries to be recycled. We have also upgraded our paper recycling bins and have talked about what can be recycled and which bins to use for what! Children have also taken on the important  responsibility of looking after our playground environment and are all very keen to try out our new litter pickers! 

Please talk to your children at home about what you recycle and if you have any ideas for recycling projects in school please encourage your children to chat to our Year 2 Eco Warriors Thomas, Rosie, Priyana, Alexa and Ryan. Thank you to Mrs Bellchambers for your enthusiasm and for leading the Eco Warrior team.
